The 10 Day New Zealand Wine Tour

The 10 Day New Zealand Luxury Wine Tour is our flagship product. We limit the tour numbers to a maximum of 20 people to ensure each person has two seats to stretch out and to keep your travel essentials close.

Having one air-conditioned luxury tour coach for the duration of the tour allows you to have a home away from home as we explore the key wine regions of New Zealand. The coach contains smartphones and iPads for your use, as well as cool refreshments and essential travel items to help you enjoy your travels.

We stay in the best possible accommodation available to us in each region, and dine at many fine restaurants, with special tastings hosted by selected winemakers from each region.

Please take a look through our normal 10 day tour itinerary. We can develop other group options can be on request and please ask if you have a special winery or winemaker that you would like us to add to the schedule.

10 Day Tour Itinerary

Day One – Arrival in New Zealand

We will arrange transfers from Auckland Airport to your luxury 5-Star central city hotel. The 10 Day Tour commences the following day, once all members of the group have arrived. If you arrive before 11am, we have organised a half day excursion by boat to close-by Waiheke Island, famed for its robust red wines and incredible views back towards Auckland City. Or you choose to travel around Auckland City and we can provide a list of places to visit during your afternoon. Your hotel room is included in the package, we will assemble everyone for a briefing on our tour, before heading at an informal dinner in one of Auckland’s finest restaurants.

Snapshot on Auckland

Auckland is New Zealand's biggest city with a population of around 1.3 million people. Wherever you go in Auckland, you’ll find something special – it’s a whole region waiting to be explored. The city centre’s world-class shopping, restaurants, bars and galleries are encircled by wine regions, stunning beaches, pristine rainforest and the magnificent Hauraki Gulf.

If you arrive into Auckland with time to spare before our New Zealand wine tour starts, we recommend grabbing a ferry out to Waiheke Island for a day, or day/night. We can book this additional side trip into your itinerary.

Additionally, the Kumeu River area hosts some of the world's great Chardonnay wines, rivalling those of Burgundy, as proven in recent blind tastings. We can arrange a tasting for you during your vacation, as we host informal wine tastings most evenings during our tours.
